Material Character
Assoluta is a texturable lime-based material with 0.7mm grain. It can be sculpted, carved, and shaped while wet — creating stone-like surfaces with hand-troweled character. This is the most architectural of all POEMA materials, the one closest to the ancient tradition of lime plaster.
Where other materials ask for careful, controlled application, Assoluta invites bold gesture. The coarse grain holds the marks of the trowel, the sweep of the arm, the intention of the craftsperson. Every surface becomes a record of its own making.
Assoluta bridges the gap between coating and construction material. It is not applied to a wall — it becomes the wall. Thick enough to sculpt, mineral enough to endure, beautiful enough to leave exposed.
